John Meyer is the Founder and CEO of Brandstar USA, a strategic branding and marketing consultancy that helps organizations accelerate growth, strengthen market relevance, and navigate business transformation.

For more than two decades, John has advised and led brands through periods of growth, disruption, and market evolution. His experience spans executive leadership roles across global agency networks and operating companies, where he has partnered with iconic brands including Apple Inc., Virgin Group, Starbucks, Levi Strauss & Co., Taco Bell, Walgreens, McDonald's, and American Crew to build stronger brands, deepen customer engagement, and create lasting business value.

Today, John advises executive teams on navigating market disruption, accelerating growth, and adapting to rapidly changing consumer and business landscapes. Drawing on decades of experience in brand strategy, marketing leadership, customer experience, and business transformation, he helps organizations translate emerging technologies—including Generative AI—into practical strategies that drive innovation, strengthen competitive advantage, and deliver measurable results.

Throughout his career, John has led transformational initiatives and collaborated with influential leaders who have shaped business, culture, and innovation, including Steve Jobs, Richard Branson, Steven Spielberg, and Guy Fieri. His work has been recognized by leading industry organizations and featured in national business and consumer media, reflecting a consistent ability to turn vision into growth, relevance, and enterprise value.

Beyond his consulting and leadership work, John is a passionate mentor, educator, and advocate for lifelong learning. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona and ArtCenter College of Design, where he later served as an adjunct professor. In 2022–2023,he was honored as the University of Arizona's "Alumnus of the Year." He also actively supports nonprofit organizations focused on health, education, and community impact.

John Meyer is an award-winning brand & marketing executive, strategist, writer, and image-maker known for building culturally relevant brands that drive growth and influence. As Chief Executive Officer of Brandstar USA, he leads transformative brand, marketing, and creative initiatives across advertising, retail, consumer products, hospitality, and entertainment. With leadership experience at global agencies including TBWA, Deutsch, Y&R and DDB, John has shaped campaigns and brand platforms for companies including Apple, Virgin, Taco Bell, Levi’s, Starbucks, Walgreens, American Crew, POM Wonderful, and McDonald’s. His multidisciplinary approach blends strategy, storytelling, design, photography, technology, and experiential thinking to create modern omnichannel brand experiences. Throughout his career, John has collaborated with influential leaders and cultural icons including Steve Jobs, Richard Branson, Steven Spielberg, Heidi Klum, and Guy Fieri. His work has appeared in Adweek, Ad Age, Communication Arts, Brandweek, Print Magazine,and The New York Times, and has been recognized by The Clios, The One Show, Effies, Webbys, London International Awards, and Art Directors Club. He was also honored by SO SCOTTSDALE Magazine as one of the “People to Watch in 2021.” John is also a speaker, award-show judge, and educator. A graduate of University of Arizona and Art Center College of Design, he later returned as an adjunct professor and was honored as Alumnus of the Year in 2022–2023. He also supports nonprofit organizations including the Epilepsy Foundation and the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
